Thorough and insightful tour - Our guide did a terrific job taking us through the Uffizi and in particular showing us how painting evolved from the Medieval period to the Renaissance. He was very well informed and we found his narration helpful without becoming didactics. Good pacing and a very good introduction to the Uffizi. I found that working our way up to Botticelli made it even more impressive when we finally got to it.

Family friendly 5 star personal tour! - Incredible! No better way to see the gallery and what a wonderful experience to get a personal tour (4 of us which was worth every penny) with beautiful explanations of the art and Florence in general. Rebecca our guide was young and connect perfectly with our two children aged 10 and 12. She kept us all engaged and hand selected the pieces and explained some of the more usual ones plus the master pieces. A perfect balance, no one got bored and she inspired us to stay longer and find some other pieces down on the 1st floor! The gallery is beautiful, we’ll worth visiting just for the views of the city and the river! We visited in May and the gallery was already very crowded so having a personal guide made cutting through the people much easier! I would recommend an early slot to avoid the crowds and hear! Best experience of the Uffizi on a schedule - We came here in late May, on a Tuesday which is the busiest day of the week. Our tour guide was Manuella and we really enjoyed our time with her.
The tour was organized as an introduction to the Renaissance; starting from the very beginning up until the end of the era. We visited around 5-6 rooms with detailed focus on select masterworks in each. Manuella was knowledgeable, showcased her passion, and ready to answer questions. With the time allotted for the tour and our tight schedule, we felt that the tour was perfectly organized for our needs.
I recommend this tour to those who want to visit the gallery and see the main attractions within the two hour time limit.

Awesome experience for art and history lovers. - Very informative and fun tour. Our tour guide, Fredricka, was so good. Friendly and helpful and she knew her stuff! Museum was crowded but she was able to navigate the crowds and get us into good spots to see paintings and sculptures.

Great tour guide and experience! - We had a wonderful, knowledgeable guide who took us to the highlights of the Uffuzi museum. Learned a lot of art history and saw some masterpieces! Perfect if you only have a few hours to devote but want to experience the museum. 6 people total in our group! We got in quickly. Meeting spot was easy to find. A plus experience!

Slow response, poor customer service - Due to sudden health concerns, we missed our reserved tour & could advise the tour operator AFTER the fact. Several messages were sent with no answer until I rated the experience (@ Viator's request) as poor & unresponsive. The TO finally did respond to advise "....your reservation has been expired; please contact viator c.s. for rebook". I asked for an email address instead of paying out of country charges. Still no response. Just want to get this resolved & rebooked while we are still in Italy rather than wait 7 days (as per the process). Any suggestions?
