Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel
Kathmandu - Welcome to the city of temples and the country of Himalayas. Our airport representative will be waiting for your arrival with a name card written your name. We will transfer you to the hotel. We will introduce you to the tour leader and have a short meeting about the tour.

Trekking to Everest Base Camp is one of the most popular activities among people who visit Nepal for a holiday. A breath-taking flight to Lukla airport, stunning Himalayan scenery, the world’s biggest desert-like glaciers, high thrilling trekking passes and warm, hospitable Sherpa culture together with hundreds of years old monasteries are main attractions of Everest Base Camp Trekking.
The trek starts after an adventurous and thrilling flight to Lukla. The flight itself gives an impressive impression of great mountain views (and heart-stopping approach and landing !) and the trek will take you through wide areas of stunning landscapes, ethnic settlements, years old Buddhist monasteries at Monjo, Namche, Tengboche and Panboche, and ultimately to the midst of towering peaks.
This is moderate to difficult level trekking suitable for people above average fitness level. Anyone who is able to walk about 6 - 7 hours each day is open to join this hike.

The most amazing experience of a lifetime - My friends and I recently decided to embark on the Everest base camp expedition. We had no prior experience or knowledge about the trek so we booked through Himalayan Leisure’s. We met our guide for the next 12 days, Lal Bahadur Gurung. Lal was the most amazing, kind, generous and welcoming soul and we couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. For the entire trek he constantly looked out for our best interests, always checking in on our wellbeing, making sure we were comfortable and making sure we were well fed even before eating himself! Not only did Lal make the expedition a comfortable experience, he made it so much fun. He is such a bubbly person who made all moments of the trip fun and made every new day something to look forward too. Even when we got slightly sick he would tend to us before himself. I genuinely couldn’t think of doing this trek with anyone other than Lal. If your thinking of doing the EBC trek, know it will be a challenge, but if you’re with Lal, it will be the best thing you ever did!

DO THIS HIKE - Where do I begin, truly a life changing hike filled with some might beautiful scenes, endless and rewarding upon finishing. This all couldn’t be organised by a better company, everything was accounted for and well prepared in advance. Our guide Lal Bahadur Gurung was a gem. A caring, sympathetic and never ending smiles made the experience that much better. Watch out though the man’s a deadly weapon when comes to a game of 500 (hit me with one of the most out standing 10 no trumps). I couldn’t recommend a better group to go through. You will not regret this decision!!!

Lal Bahadur Gurung is the best tour guide EVER - We did Mt. Everest base camp trek and our Sherpa Lal Bahadur Gurung was THE BEST GUIDE EVER. He truly made our experience amazing with his humour, compassion, friendliness and preparedness. With every challenge we faced Lal was 100% on top of everything and we always had a plan B. EBC trek & walk to the gods… - Trekked to EBC and Kalla Patar with the 2 best people in the business.
Mr Krishna Dhakal & Mr Ngima Tamang provided the best guidance, porter service, professionalism and knowledge anyone could ask for.
I would highly recommend these 2 gentleman to anyone interested in taking the trip of a lifetime.
I have made 2 new friends and will return for sure !

A lifetime experience - Our trek to Everest Base Camp was a big adventure and an experience we will never forget!
It was not easy, especially to walk in high altitude but we were able to accomplish everything also thanks to our great guide Hari- he was very helpful and gentle and we had a nice time together.
I would only recommend everyone to take this trek (with Himalayan Leisure), it is so worth it!

Experienced team to ensure the completion of EBC trek - Encountered a hiccup where flights to Lukla were cancelled for the entire month. Upendra proposed an alternative plan which allowed us to complete our EBC trek smoothly and on time. Porters and guide were experienced as well (our guide Hari been to EBC 150+ times!). Thankful to the team for this one of a kind experience.

Everest Base camp 12 day treck - Group of 4, recently completed a 12-day Everest Base Camp, and it was an experience of a lifetime. The company's organization and attention to detail were impeccable. They provided a comprehensive package that included all necessary permits, comfortable accommodations, and delicious meals.
Our guide (and porters) was exceptional, with an in-depth knowledge of the region and a focus on our safety and comfort. The support staff, including the porters, were hardworking and contributed significantly to the smoothness of our journey.
