Good way to spend an hour in the afternoon - Absolutely amazing, the captain has entertained us with history, knowledge and good humour. I will do this again when I visit with family. It's a shame the weather wasn't so great it would have been better if it was sunny

Brilliant Boat Hire in Poole Harbour - This is the second time we've hired a boat with Poole Boat Hire and we will be back again in the future. The owners and staff are really friendly and gave us the chance to delay our start due to the typical Bank Holiday rain. Once aboard we were given a thorough safety briefing, shown how to use the controls and given recommendations on where to take the boat. The boats themselves are perfect for exploring beautiful Poole Harbour. They're easy to operate and there's plenty of room on board for 4 people. It's great to get a perspective of Brownsea, Poole Quay and Arne from the water. Looking forward to using Poole Boat Hire again in the future

Great afternoon on the water via Poole Boat Hire - We had a lovely afternoon on the waters in Poole which we booked through Poole Boat Hire. The boat was in pristine condition, the instructions were very clear and thorough and the owners were incredible friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We were able to navigate around all the small islands including Brownsea. We even followed a seal for a while. The boat was easy to drive and it was just great fun. We spent 3 hours out on the boat and would have happily stayed longer. We will definitely be hiring through Poole Boat Hire again.

Highly recommended! Faultless service! Fantastic day! - My Husband booked a boat for his birthday and we weren't disappointed! Gareth was welcoming and friendly as soon as we met, he explained everything to us, including safety info and gave us a map of the harbour. He explained where we were to avoid due to the tide and where we could get refreshments etc. Life jackets are provided and there is a cool box on board for drinks and in our case, a birthday cake for the birthday boy lol. We had the boat for 6 hours at a very reasonable price, we ensured that we remained within the red and green buoys at all times as instructed and had a fantastic time. The boat was easy to drive and had a depth bleeper fitted which let us know if we were getting near shallow waters, the navigation system was also very easy to use. We wanted to get some chips from the quay for lunch, we called Gareth to ask how we do this and he gave us a number for the quay boat office. We called them and they let us moor up for 20 minutes for free! (very kind of them) - I think it's about £7.50 per hour usually. We got some chips, jumped back on the boat and drove back behind Brownsea Island where we anchored at Goats horn - so peaceful and beautiful! The boats aren't to go outside of the harbour (past the chain ferry) but this didn't matter, there is plenty to see within the harbour, its all stunning! We enjoyed every single minute of it and we will be recommending this service to everyone we speak to, it's incredible! Thank you Gareth, you are a star, we will be hiring a boat from you again in the future! We've already told our friends about it and they want to come along too! **Gareth's boat hire is on pontoon B on Cobbs quay**

Great fun and highly recommended - Really enjoyed our trip around Poole Harbour. We booked for 3 hours but would happily have stayed out longer and will probably book for 6 hours when we're back again and go a different route. Really nice people running the hire - make sure you pay attention to their briefing before hand as it's easy to go the wrong way and there's a few bits that are important to understand. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend Poole Boat Hire.

Good day out - Too be fair we had a decent day. Problem was the lady who sat us down for 30 minutes running through the safety etc. By time she finished we didnt want to go out. We were more worried about crashing the boat...smashing the propellor and having additional costs....and what we were probably not best off doing for the day. Its a shame because we would have liked to have stopped and swimmed or gone on land for 30 mins or so as we had a dog with us. The lady said if we anchored up the liklihood was that we could be stranded for 6 hours due to the tide and that when we returned the water and harbour would look totally different. It didnt. Infact The owner did interupt as he was pretty awesome and assured us the water level wouldnt change over the 3 hours we were to have the boat. I guess some more simple instructions would be good as its all pretty straight forward but we left the harbour feeling like we would be lucky to make it back. We would visit again...but next time do all the things we now know we could of and should of as they would have been easy. We paid 180 quid for 3 hours. There was 2 adults a teenager and dog. If we had known what we could have done and not been made scared of our adventure we would have booked a few hours more and done all the things we had hoped for. All said and done still a great time. Thank you.
