• Abydos - We’ll arrange for your pick-up, and you will embark on a journey to the northern region of Luxor, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Abydos Temple. This temple is renowned for showcasing some of the most exquisite examples of intricately carved and beautifully painted reliefs, dating back to Dynasty 19, featuring King Seti I and his son Ramses II.

Abydos, historically known as the eighth upper Egyptian nome, was once called “Abdju.” This location held significance as the supposed burial place of the god Osiris, and it was a site where important religious ceremonies were conducted to honor his death and subsequent rebirth in the afterlife.

The temple of King Sety I and his son is adorned with elegant decorations and has been remarkably well-preserved over the years, making it a true masterpiece of Egyptian art and architecture.
