Can’t ask for a better experience - My husband and I traveled with our service dog and both Sandro and Benji were sooo welcoming! Benji is the best driver we can ask for our whole Cusco trip As for Sandro, he is the most informative and loving person I have ever met! 4 days with the both of them and they made us feel right at home

Two Tours With This Company - Amazing! - There are so many tour operators in Cusco, it’s almost overwhelming to choose one! But when we found Machu Picchu Viajes Peru during our search, we decided to give them a chance and WOW we are SO glad we did! My husband and I booked two tours with them and we had the same guide Belizario (Beli) for both days. He was amazing! Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, but he made everything so fun! On our first day we booked a full day Sacred Valley Tour with Maras & Moray. Beli and our driver Benjamin picked us up and we visited so many stops. Belly took the time to explain all the history behind each one and took a ton of photos for us. We appreciated how personable he was and how he took his time with storytelling. On our second day we were picked up really early in a cozy vehicle. We had a delicious breakfast buffet (lunch later was great at the same place) and then headed for our hike up Rainbow Mountain. We ended up hiking in a blizzard part of the way and my fingertips got really cold despite my gloves. Belizario gave me his gloves to wear with mine which made such a huge difference! At the top, we were happy to find it still colorful despite the snow, and we ended up being one of the earlier groups to make it to the top. This was huge because by the time we headed down there were SO many people coming up. It was awesome to beat the crowds! One last thing I want to mention... on the way down there was a baby sheep with plastic trash in its mouth. Beli jumped into action and saved it! We'd give them 10 stars if we could! We highly recommend this tour company!

ANOTHER AMAZING TOUR WITH DOMINGO - I can not say enough good things about this travel agency. We wanted to spend our money locally and book customizable private tours. and we randomly found this amazing travel agency that was across the street from our hotel. we were in constant communication through WHATSAPP. We ordered the private tour of of Rainbow mountain. This was our second full day with Domingo and our Driver. We ordered the private tour of Rainbow Mountain and had a completely private tour the entire time. we we picked up in a huge 8 passenger - super clean, well heated - the pick up time is very early 4am and the ride is very long to rainbow mountain but we had enough room to stretch out and have a comfortable ride. the driver was great and with 2 women traveling safety is most important. no off handed comments or haggling for additional sales. peace and quiet on to and from our hotel. we picked up our amazing tour guide Domingo. Domingo is native to the land and very knowledgeable to historical facts of Peru. He spoke fluent English and Spanish and kept our Rainbow Tour private for the entire time. we stopped for breakfast before we got to rainbow mountain. it is cold I would suggest wearing an actual jacket and have sunscreen. The altitude sickness is severe. we were dizzy, lightheaded, heart pounding, bad headache, couldn't breathe. do not hike the mountain, take a horse as soon as it is available because you will still need to hike the last mile to get to the top of rainbow which is very difficult and horses can not go up the trail. if you need oxygen speak up!!!! Domingo stayed with us the entire time. he walked along side us as we rode our horses and then slowly walked beside us as we practically crawled up the mountain lol. he was so patient and kind. when you reach the top there are a few vendor selling snacks to curb the sickness and of course the cute lamas. this was a physically demanding hike, but the most beautiful place i have ever seen in my life. there's an overwhelming sense of peace when you are on the mountain and riding the horse while interacting with natives (they do not speak English or Spanish, but are extremely nice and hospitable - bring enough cash to tip!!!)

Best guide - The guide Perci is spectacular. He takes care of everyone with so much care and attention that it is impossible to feel insecure on the journey. Not to mention his friendliness, which is incredible. The driver Hernan is also wonderful.

Amazing Mountain, Amazing Tour - We had an amazing experience. Pick-up time was at 4AM, we stoped at a nice place for breakfast shortly and arrived at the beginning of the trail around 7AM. We were on top of the mountain so early so we could skip the crowd to get great pictures. Sandro was our tour guide and he arranged everything awesome for us. Totally recommend

Highly recommend company - My wife and me took the rainbow mountain Trek with this company and we had Juan Carlos as our tour guide. He was fantastic and apacionant of his job all the time. He was very knowledgeable and made sure our every need was taken care of. I would request him again without a doubt. We did plan a private trek due the Covid situation, the car and the guide were only for two of us, we think would pay to make it private again, because we only had ourselves to discuss and enjoy the trek. When we come back to Peru for another hike we will be definitely book with Machu Picchu Viajes Peru, Thanks for everything.

Rainbow Mountain- Cusco - 2024 - The most memorable part of our tour to rainbow mountain tour was the spectacular view of the mountain. Our driver, Benjamin, was very professional. He puts us at ease for entire trip to and back from the mountain, though part of the road was tough. Our tour guide, Tatiana, was courteous and a nice lady. I wish she would explain more about the mountain. We felt she was there as a babysitter not a tour guide.
