Embark on a 12-hour full-day journey with us from Queenstown, through Mackenzie Country to the awe-inspiring landscapes of the Southern Alps and into Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, the homeland of majestic snow-cloaked mountains, stunning glaciers and Aoraki Mt Cook (‘Cloud Piercer’), the tallest peak of New Zealand.
Once we reach, you will have around 3 hours to discover the numerous walks and activities available in Mt Cook Village (at additional cost), or you can choose to prolong your visit with an overnight stay at the Hermitage Hotel.
Our Altitude Mt Cook tours are restricted to only 16 guests to maintain a feel of closeness, allowing each guest to experience excellent New Zealand hospitality, fun-filled and insightful commentary from your local guide and many visits to less touristy spots for unique experiences.
- Mount Cook is an alpine environment and it is important to bring warm clothes, a rain jacket and comfortable shoes for walking.
- The Hooker Valley Trek is a DOC (Department of Conservation) hiking trail, and we recommend only those with medium fitness complete the entire trail (weather pending). We have a strict departure time from Mt Cook Village and all hikers must return by that time.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
