Great historian and storyteller - David is passionate about Dublin. He knows her history and geography like no one. He also knows wonderful stories about Dublin that few others would likely know. He is energetic and thoughtful and takes the time to really explain the topic at hand. Highly recommended.

No better tour than with Eamon O’Sullivan. Do this! - So I blew into town (Dublin) on business … never been to the city. Had a few hours to kill. Booked this tour with Eamon O’Sullivan. WOW. This guy. He knows his history. A solo tour could’ve been awkward … but not with Eamon. Incredibly personable and attentive. If you’re looking to have a personalized tour; find the cool pubs; delicious restaurants; learn about Ireland’s history; and learn about the poets, writers, suffragettes that left an indelible mark on this country’s history …. Book this tour and request Eamon!! Cheers!

A tour for the ages… - My wife and I had a brief weekend in Dublin and wanted to get a feel for the history and sites of the city. After a brief phone with Eamon to set up good meeting place, we decided it best to meet at our hotel lobby. Eamon was right on time. The three of us sat for a moment to discuss an appropriate itinerary and then we were off. From the beginning, Eamon provided us with a sense of the rich history of Dublin in pointing out various sites, monuments, markers, and historical places…complete with dates, people, and an understanding of the what was happening at the historical time… We had the opportunity to ask him tons of questions and he was full of encyclopedic knowledge in a funny, insightful, and as a proud Irishman. I can’t recommend Eamon’s tour more…and I’m sure that others would find the experience very rewarding and a great value… 5-stars (only because 6-stars isn’t an option)

A highlight of our trip to Dublin 🇮🇪 - Had a great walking tour with Ruairi! The personalized experience was priceless. Ruairi messaged me a few times prior and even suggested Dublin must-dos which was a huge timesaver. Excellent customer service before, during, and after the tour. He knew the sights, historical facts, and hidden gems well, but the best part was Ruairi’s storytelling. He made the tour fun and entertaining. When we asked where we could buy Irish jewelry he took us to a small shop we would have never found, and let us take our time to shop. After 2 hours in the rain we needed a tea break to warm up. Ruairi changed the plan and took us to a great tea spot. They also served Irish coffee (bonus). We saw it all: Molly Malone statue, Grafton St, Stephens Green, Trinity College, Oscar Wilde statue, and the list goes on. Ruairi gave us great pub recommendations, too. We loved the atmosphere in Stag’s Head pub so much we returned for lunch the next day. Get a table in the “snug” and order the toastie for lunch. And to think I would have never known this hidden gem existed if I didn’t take this tour. This is why I love walking tours with expert guides. Skip the crowds and do this. We’re booking Ruairi at WithLocals for a return trip in the fall because there’s always more to see. Can’t wait to do it again!

Fantastic introduction to Dublin! - We enjoyed a wonderful morning walking around Dublin with Ruairi. He introduced us to history, funny stories, and folk lore. His tour is a great way to introduce yourself to Dublin quickly and know where to go while you continue your journey. He was so interesting, knowledgeable and fun, our time flew by too quickly. Great value and so much better than the big tours.
