Additional Information

In the ‘City of a Thousand Welcomes’, our guests are guided by seasoned locals who enthusiastically share insights about their cherished city. Each experience is curated by a gastronomic host with options for luxury enhancements. Our events aim to unite people, with a goal to strengthen interpersonal connection through narratives and gastronomy (and beverages, undoubtedly!)

The tour explores Cork’s renowned food and beverage marketplace, the English Market, functioning since the 18th century. Here, guests have the opportunity to mingle with local vendors for some ‘the craic’( Irish colloquialism for enjoyment).

The Cork Gourmet Tour encapsulates the finest the city can offer. Showcasing locally produced artisan cheese from award-winning cheesemakers, tantalizing seafood freshly caught from the Atlantic, handmade traditional Irish bread, and gourmet homegrown country sausage, all complemented by a frothy pint.

The tour concludes at an easygoing gastro-pub where guests can delight in a shared platter and a locally brewed beverage of their preference.

Indoor Market - My husband and I have been in Ireland for two weeks. We have been on MANY tours. I must tell you that today’s experience went right to the top of our “favorites” list. Our tour guide was friendly, full of knowledge and had such a sweet demeanor. I had such high hopes, especially when learning that we would be touring the Indoor Market. What a delight! Seriously, Carrie made the tour all the more enjoyable. We are traveling out to Galway tomorrow for a few days, before heading back to the States. This has been a genuine, once in a lifetime experience. Please extend our gratitude to Carrie and we wish her well!! Paul and Dineen Mello from Southern California

Not To Be Missed!! - What a wonderful experience. Frances of Bonner Travel could not have planned and executed a more thoughtful and memorable tour. The tour started on time and there seemed to be an endless supply of food tastings. Definitely go hungry! There were only four of us on the tour which I loved since we had time to talk and get to know one another. If you are cruising into the port of Cobh, Ireland, I suggest taking the train located a few feet from the ship into Cork. The train ride is 25-30 minutes and the cost round trip per person was approximately 9 Euros. From the Cork train station it is a 15 minute walk to the tour meeting place. There are taxis, but it was a beautiful sunny day so we opted to walk. France’s made sure that we ended the tour with enough time to make our ship’s 3:30pm all aboard time. My husband and I are looking forward to taking other tours with Frances in the future as she offers tours in other countries. Thank you Frances for a memorable experience!

History, Food, and Fun! - We had a lovely time with our guide Amanda. She is very knowledgeable about the city and its history. She is a talented singer and treated us to a private song while we sipped our Irish coffees. Such a treat! We highly recommend her and this tour to anyone looking for a good way to see the city center.

Loved our time with Kerry! ❤️ - We couldn’t have asked for a better host than Kerry. Our family of 3 all felt a great connection from the time we met. She has a gorgeous soul and taught us so much about the lovely city. I would recommend this tour to anyone. A definite highlight to our trip! Tom Durkens spiced beef & the sausages were exceptionally delicious and I already want to go back for more!

Cork Culinary Tour a highlight of our trip! - The Cork Culinary Tour was the highlight of our trip to Ireland! Kerry was a warm and welcoming guide and expertly wove history, culture, humor and amazing food throughout our time together! We found ourselves retracing our steps in the days after our tour back to the English Market for beef and Beamish pie, sausages, bread, oysters, chocolate, and of course, Mutton Lane for Irish Coffees and pints of Beamish! When our tour was over it was like saying goodbye to a dear friend. We wholeheartedly recommend The Cork Culinary tour and Bonner Travel when your plans take you to Cork!
