Fabulous Unique experience - This was such a fabulous outing. Pricey but worth the time. Our falconist, , was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. She showed us two species of owl, three types of falcons and two hawk breeds. The opportunity to interact with these majestic birds and film them in flight was amazing. The end of the outing was out of doors where you were able to perch one of these birds of prey. What a unique and unforgettable experience!

Amazing experience - The whole team made us feel welcome and safe. Michaela, Jorel and Deanna were fantastic hosts. It is obvious that Deanna is passionate about her job and the energy she brought to our visit was infectious. I’m not sure what I expected from this experience, but this team definitely exceeded any expectations for an introduction to Falconry that I had in mind. It was informational, exciting, and above all accessible. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Raving with Raptors!! - We were fortunate to join the "Raptor Lady" for a really fun Falconry experience. Not only getting to see and learn about a number of birds of prey, we got to get up close and personally meet 5 hawks, 2 owls and then experience the flight and the hunt with a Harris falcon. Great afternoon! Weather was perfect and the hawks did not disappoint. One even flew from a tree to swoop down and grab a vole! Exciting and educational! Would love to come back to do "level two" - intermediate falconry!!

An interesting and informative falconry experience at the world renowned Broadmoor hotel. - I totally enjoyed the falconry experience. Deanna our guide was informative, knowledgeable and engaging. I loved both parts of the session starting in the raptor center where we got to see various owls, falcons and hawks and got a quick lesson in the history of falconry! The walk with a hawk, (maverick) was the most amazing part of the experience. The way he flew out of sight then came back, and his hunting demo with the raccoon tail was also very cool. Highly recommend.

Falconry for all! Yes! - Just being out in nature and being able to observe the birds was great. Our guide was very knowledgeable and I could tell it was her love. This activity was by far the best for me and I recommend it for everyone.

Such a great experience! - My family and I had a great experience with the beginner falconry lesson. The look of awe and excitement on my six-year-old’s face throughout the activity makes me think it will be a memory that will stick with her for many years. Even though my daughter can be shy with new people and experiences, she was so excited to hold a falcon. Deanna, the falconer, had many intriguing stories and facts to share with the adults and kids in our small group. Even as an adult, getting up close to these majestic birds was such a unique experience. We’d definitely recommend the falconry experience for families with elementary school kids.
