Canyon de Chelly Adventure - We booked a two person tour with a 9am pickup. Our guide was Andrea and she was fantastic! Seeing Canyon de Chelly was a real blessing and Andrea's knowledge and stories were more than worth the price of the tour.

This was SO worth doing…a once in a lifetime experience. A real privilege to see and learn from local Navajo guide. - This was SO worth doing! We booked the night before for a Sunday midday tour, since we we on the road camping and our timing was last minute. The Navajo family who owns the business were very professional and our tour guide Benny so very knowledgeable and experienced. Their family clan summers in the canyon so the experience is authentic. The tour took us to the three arms of the canyon, driving in and traversing the shallow river repeatedly. The Anasazi ruins are spectacular. Our guide highlighted the interpretations and history of what we viewed. The entire experience was awe-inspiring…and humbling. Look up “Beauty “Way” and you will learn the meaning of this in Navajo life.

Surpassed our Expectations - So many things to choose from! Our guide was fabulous, it was so much fun to sit in the open air vehicle. You got to learn anbout and see so much! Just loved the whole experience. What might have been most memorable was the wonderful flute playing by our guide. Just can’t say enough good things about Beauty Day!

Beautiful Canyon - This is the second time taking this tour for my husband and I. We enjoyed it so much we wanted to take our granddaughter this time. Loved it all over again and she thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Viola was a great guide and made it fun and interesting. Highly recommend!

Among the High Points of Our Trip - The Beauty Way tour with Don was great! We loved Canyon de Chelly and enjoyed talking with Don about life there. He was a very careful driver through many ruts and lots of water. The photos we took were fabulous. It was so interesting seeing the ancestral Pueblo villages built into the cliffs, and the pictographs and petroglyphs. A very memorable day!

Dont use Elsie the guide - Seeing the canyon was great! The guide did not do a good job at all! Older lady named Elsie, no information about the canyon whatsoever. She told us about her children and grandkids and we could not have cared about them! We paid over $245.00 & got no info on canyon except when we asked. Then very limited answer, she was more interested in us looking at her friends and family jewelry for sale at the stops!! Horrible to travel so far and pay so much, and get no imformation from guide. We were so very very dissatisified. Would not recommend Viator to anyone coming there, and we certainly will not use them again as we travel around the country. In you ad it said we would learn various subjects about so much…none was given. A visit to a Navajo home certainly not even mentioned. It was windy, but would like tohave open air as advertised…guide sid it was too cold and windy. It was 72 degrees…she kept saying how cold it was. She also had snacks amd was eating them in front of us as she drove…not very professional! Maybe at stops she could eat her snacks as we looked around and took pics. Please advise for a partial refund! The canyon is a serene place and we need to read about it as we finish our trip. Gerald Taylor 913-972-1196 the stops about that!
