Wonderful experience! - Such a fantastic experience! We saw and learned so much! Luis and Becky made it such an embracing experience. More like good friends than guides.

Fun day trip! - An excellent trip! I had a great time chatting with Luis, the guide and driver. He told me about the changes in Santiago during and after COVID and how he thinks it affected daily life. As for Isla Negra, the house is beautifully maintained and has a lot of fun, quirky aspects to it. (La Chascona is another quirky Neruda house in Santiago.). Pomaire is a nice little place to see ceramics, one pound empanadas, and pastel de choclo (chicken and beef pie with corn bread crust).

Great tour Guide! - Luis was great! He was so nice and knowledgeable. He really watched out for us. He even checked the weather for us to see if we needed a jacket. He was so thoughtful and made our tour amazing! We were treated like family. I would recommend him as a tour guide to everyone. The tour was fun also.

Best all day tour in Santiago - This was a great tour that shouldn't be missed. You get to see and do so much, yet do don't feel rushed or hurried. Tour guide, Alex was the best. He was professional, warm, inviting, fun and a wealth of knowledge. Thanks for a great day!

It may be a good tour if an experienced English speaking guide was assigned to us. - Inexperienced English speaking tourist guide. There is not a lot of history was told to our group about the tour. The tour guide and the driver were very nice.

Trip was Canceled without notifying me - There were no memorable parts, unfortunately. I had deliberately--at some cost--extended my stay in Santiago JUST to take this trip, and the morning of the trip I waited 1-1/2 hours for a pickup which never came. After continually trying to contact the tour operators, I enlisted the help of my hotel staff, only to learn, several hours later, that the trip had been cancelled. My tour fee is being refunded, but the additionally costs I bore as a result of extending my stay for this tour, of course, were not.

Not worth your time - Before booking this tour, I read all of the reviews and they seemed quite complementary, so we decided to take this tour. It was a very disappointing experience. Our driver was nice and courteous, but that’s all he was, just a driver, and not a guide. He picked us up at our hotel on time, and we had roughly 90 minutes in the car with no commentary at all. Needless to say we were bored, stiff. We did find Mr. Neruda‘s residence interesting and in a very scenic location and we enjoyed that activity very much. But, it was not worth a 90 minute drive to get there. We then spent another hour in the car in bumper to bumper traffic along the coast just to go see the worlds largest pool. We had to look at it through a very rusted chain-link fence from the beach. This was a total waste of time. I wish we could be more complementary and recommend this tour. However, we would suggest skipping this tour entirely.
