Don’t hesitate, request Gin as your tour guide! - The tour bus accommodates up to 10 people but when you get to the boats for the Mekong river, you split into 2 groups. From there, your adventure differs depending on who your guide is. Gin was great, does a lot of food tours so our Mekong delta tour deviated a bit from what was listed on the itinerary and we were not disappointed! Our group was a bit confused about this but when we asked she explained that they like to cater each experience to the group an keep it a surprise! Keep an open mind and immerse yourself in the Vietnamese experience!

Floating Markets...Not to be Missed with Nhu Y. - Great day trip from Saigon! The floating markets are not to be missed and Nhu Y was a superb guide. She's a "local" and knows many of the people one is going to meet. Her knowledge of the area, traditions and culture are second to none. Nhu Y made the best of some inclement weather...ensuring I remained as dry as possible. You cannot go wrong with her!!

Book Now! - This was a fabulous day on the Mekong river. All the places we stopped were stunning and the whole day felt very peaceful and relaxing. Trinh was an amazing guide! When we kind, friendly, and made an extra effort to accommodate me being vegetarian . Our driver Mr. Dieu was also very kind and a very cautious driver. Don’t think twice book this tour!

An amazing day - Me and my friend had an amazing time on this tour. Our guidelines believe her name is Nhú and the gentleman that was hired to pick us up and drop off in Ho Chi Minh were so sweet and we really felt taken care of. We had pho for breakfast and we opted for the full day tour so we had lunch at a restaurant after the cruise around the Mekong, the restaurant was amazing and we got to spend a little extra time with our guide, I would highly recommend this tour.

Memorable, worth the early start - All the activities were memorable, fun and interesting. We got to experience a lot, and it was beautiful! Our tour guide Như Ý was excellent, playing a big part of the success of our tour. She’s a local who grew up in the region therefore has extensive knowledge (from the culture to plants). She’s very attentive, thoughtful and skilful (she opened up a pomelo in like 2 seconds, then cut up into wedges and gave us. All happened on a moving boat. Impressive!!). She was patient with us translating to my Mexican parents-in-law too. Our driver Phước called beforehand to make sure the location and time of pickup, he was early at pickup time which I appreciated as it was super early. Overall, I think the multiple activities are fun and productive. Within one day we learnt and experienced the Mekong delta more than what we expected. My family of 4 including my parents in law enjoyed everything so much, it worth the early wake-up. Thank you!!

Other worldly day trip from HCMC - The tour started a bit shaky as the driver was a bit late and I could not communicate with him, as he did not have WhatsApp and didn’t answer the phone. However, he arrived and made good time to the floating markets where we met our amazing guide Nhu who spoke great English and answered any questions. The floating markets were very cool, a bit more touristy than expected as the markets aren’t really used for much real trading but cool to see before they disappear all together. We made our way to the noodle factory, then an interesting traditional house. We then made our way along the Mekong to an island where we sat a fish farm and ate a traditional lunch which was delicious. Nhu was very helpful with my dietary requirements. Would definitely recommend this tour for both solo and group travellers, a great way to see Vietnam off the beaten path.

Good tour overall - Our overall experience was quite good, though there were some small problems throughout. We were picked up from Ho Chi Minh on time by our driver, though there was a no show pick up after us which might have made us late to Cai Rang, in addition to there being some confusion between our driver and our tour guide about where we were meant to be dropped off. Once dropped off we met our tour guide Danny (not sure how to spell his Vietnamese name) and he got us into the boat and onto the water quickly with two other people on the tour. Danny efficiently explained the markets purpose and ways it's run before arranging our breakfast of delicious chicken pho and coffee. While travelling down the river to the second market Danny made interesting conversation and answered any questions we had about the area. Unfortunately due to being late we missed most of the second market, but Danny still managed to make the experience memorable by purchasing some red fruit for us to try. After this we went through some smaller canals to a fruit farm where we tried dragonfruit and other fruits; and a noodle shop where we learnt how rice noodles are made and got a noodle pizza snack. We headed back from here, though on our way our boat driver crashed into another boat and needed to resolve the issue with its owner. Additionally there was some confusion around the end of our tour as there were no specific instructions on how we'd return to HCMC and it seemed our tour end was slightly different to the others on the boat. We raised this with Danny and thankfully he called his boss to work out the best way to get us to our driver. While we waited for our driver Danny showed us a local pagoda and explained the altars and gods/angels to us. All in all a good tour, though would suggest refining the communication of the drop points and end of the tour.

Not as advertised - We booked a 5 hour tour. The tour was 16.5 hours long. We were not notified of the merger onto another tour so we were not prepared for a long day and one of walking off the beaten track (i was in sandles). The aspects we had booked were good-the floating markets, the boat tour and the noodle factory. The rest was a lot of fish farms which i would have happily not seen (and were not meant to be on the tour we booked). The food though was all very good. The guides were also lovely.

Disappointing and not great guide… - The guide (Nhu Y Le) was almost all the time with her iPhone (Facebook, chat…) and she didn’t explain a lot… Also the floating market does not longer exist (only 15-20 boats).
