Join one of our guides in the heart of Bogotá and discover what this neighborhood has hidden away. Inscribed in graffiti and mixed in the drinks, you’ll discover Bogotá’s colonial and indigenous past, the roots of Colombian history.

A confluence of culture and conflict can be felt all around, as you follow a trail of graffiti through old city streets. Learn about the impact of Colombian drug trafficking, emerald mafia, and how all lines up with its +50 year old armed conflict. La candeleria walking tour - Ivonne was a great guide. She covered a lot of history of Colombia and Bogota in the few hours. We also tasted local coffee and fruit. Thanks to her professionalism we are more aware of the tumultuous history of Bogota. Recommend!!

A must on your visit to Bogotá. - Chris is a magnificent guide with great knowledge of the history of the country. I would recommend starting your visit to Bogotá with this tour, especially if you are passing through the city and don't have much time. The tour includes a fruit tasting and a coffee tasting.

Fantastic - Really great for day 1 in Bogotá - This tour was awesome. The guide was really fun and excited, and took us through the entire tour despite that it was completing bucketing down with rain. We got to try some fruit and some local "chicha" and he always made sure to find us good spots to hide from the worst of the weather as he spoke. Definitely recommend! The guide, Cristian Garcia, was also very friendly and happy to share local tips and was very welcoming on my very first day in Colombia (and Bogotá). Thank you!

Exceptional Introduction to Bogota! - We have been in Colombia for 5 weeks and had 1/2 a day in Bogota. we chose the Walking Tour so that we could see as much as possible in an efficient manner! Liz was an Exceptional tour Guide. Her knowledge about the city, architecture, history, Food, Culture, Coffee…was Extensive! We covered a lot of ground in 3 hours. Our only regret is that we are not staying longer to enjoy this beautiful and historic city. We highly recommend the tour! If you have Liz as your guide…you will be guaranteed a great tour!

Wonderful quick trip - Bogota was amazing!!! The people, the sites and the food did not disappoint. We went to Monserrate, La Calenderia, Bolivar Square, Museums, markets. Then we left the city and went to Guatavita and hike around the lagoon walked thru the Salt Cathedral in Zipaquira, & Chia and had amazing food. I also recommend Colombian Buddy. You have a local that hangs out with you and takes you all over. The help you see everything on your list plus more.

Worst experience with Nati - The worst experience with Gran Colombian Tours. The guide, Natalia, gave wrong information, misinformed with stories suited to her political ideals. In addition, he walked around chatting while the members of his group got lost. When we asked him to have a reference (an umbrella or something to identify it), he spoke badly about his tourist company and said that they had financial problems and that is why they did not have umbrellas. Not very empathetic and her jokes were xenophobic
