Explore the hidden depths of the Valencian Community, characterized by its hilly landscapes and well-maintained historical cities that are sure to astound you. Xàtiva is one such city of significant historical import, filled with stately homes and heritage sites, notably being the birthplace of the renowned Borgia family. A car journey takes us up to its castle; once a federal prison, it now offers spectacular vistas stretching over 80km. Ontinyent is another city on our itinerary; formerly a thriving textile hub, it still retains its medieval quarter, Duchess’s palace and an exceptional museum dedicated to the Moorish and Christian festivals and processions that we will explore. Finally, we will journey to Anna, home to a palace meticulously restored by Moroccan craftsmen. Their intricate carvings and artwork, amidst the lush gardens, have earned it the nickname ‘the Valencian Alhambra’.
