From the epoch of Christ, Belgrade has been a pivotal fortress at the juncture of two cultures, that of the East and the West… Numerous races like the Celts, Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans, Austro-Hungarians, Germans, Russians… all have battled and perished either in an attempt to take over or emancipate the White city (Beo-grad), and their remains lie here. This city has been a face-off location for several empires, and its history, written at the intersection of two mighty rivers, effects the world as we know it. Best History tour in Belgrade! - Our recent city tour of Belgrade was an unexpectedly delightful experience. More than just a walk through the city's landmarks, the tour offered a deep dive into the culture and perspectives of the local people, which was both enlightening and engaging. Our guide had a knack for explaining the city's history and culture in a way that was straightforward yet interesting, making complex topics easy to grasp. Despite lasting around 4 hours, the tour felt shorter because it was so absorbing. It wasn't just about seeing the city but understanding it on a deeper level, thanks to the fascinating insights and stories shared by our guide. The background information provided was surprisingly interesting, revealing aspects of Belgrade we never knew existed. Additionally, the practical tips on what to do and what to avoid in the city were a great bonus. These suggestions helped us navigate our stay in Belgrade (and Novi Sad) more confidently and enjoyably. In conclusion, we couldn't have hoped for a better tour guide and our contact person was very cooperative. If you would like to discover the rich history of Belgrade (and Serbia), i would definitely recommend this tour 10/10!!

Immersive experience! - Amazing, informative and really really fun! Although I've been many times in Belgrade, I must admit that I didn't know many of the facts that Vojin presented so effortlessly. History is unbelieveable journey when you have the right guide next to you. I'll be back :)

Unexpected tour through Belgrade - We had planned for a bike tour, but due to the sickness of the guide, we were offered the alternative of a history walking tour. We were a bit sceptical about filling 3 hours with information about Serbian history, but our guide Maria managed to keep it interesting and entertaining. she even showed us a few hidden gems in the city. We spent a really great 3 hours touring the city, learning about history but also the impact on modern day life in Belgrade. also the communication with the agency was super professional and quick. Very recommendable to do any tour with them!

Great experience - I've been very fascinated by the history of Serbia and especially Belgrade. I had the change to take the Crash Course through Serbian history. My guide was called Dusan if I remember correctly. Dusan took me to the Kalemegdan fortress and explained all the complicated history behind Belgrade and Serbia in general. It was very very interesting to hear all the stories and tales he had to tell, and walking and seeing the surroundings. I would recomend this event to everyone.

Marija is a great tour guide! - Marija was an excellent tour guide; extremely knowledgeable, charmingly enthusiastic, willing to answer any and all questions plus having a very pleasant personality. Marija's command of English is perfect, in fact, better than most native English speakers!. We felt we got a real insider's guide to Belgrade and Serbia's history and culture from a local who is passionate about her city and country but also able to provide a detailed, intelligent and objective analysis of historical events. Our favourites were the two beautiful Orthodox churches we visited as well as the home of the double agent that became the inspiration for Ian Fleming's James Bond 007. There is no way that a visitor could have had the wonderful experience we had without Marjia's professional tour guiding. A terrific ambassador for Belgrade and Serbia. Highly recommended! Bravo Marija!
