Excellent Walking Tour! - Lovely tour led by Martin. Learned so much about the history of Belfast and it's context to the Belfast of today. We took a leisurely pace around the city and time really flew by! Also, received great recommendations for the rest of our stay. Take this tour!

Great Overview - Great Tour During the three hour tour Martin provides a good overview of the history of Belfast from top to bottom which I really enjoyed. Please note however this is a generalist /historical tour and whilst Martin touches on the Troubles, if you are looking to hear more on the Troubles, then there are other tours more tailored for that. This wasn't an issue for me but may be for you. Overall I highly recommend this tour, thank you Martin.

Walking with history - Martin is a retired history teacher passionate about his city. Very interesting walk around the centre of Belfast with plenty of information shared to research or return to later. You certainly get more than your moneys worth on this walking tour. Highly recommended.

Superb! - This was an excellent choice. We were surprised that there was only 45 minutes of actual walking in the three hour tour and, with lots of stops and stories, this was the perfect introduction to Belfast. Martin, our guide, is very knowledgeable not just about local history over the centuries but he puts it in an all-Ireland context. He made the past come alive and the time flew by so fast, we couldn’t believe it when we were told we were at our final stop. Highly recommended.

Enjoyable Learning - Long, but educational tour. A lot of history of Belfast and even though this is not a troubles tour, it did put some things related to it into context.

Fab informative tour - Highly recommend this guide in Belfast. Went on a 3hr walking tour this morning and Martin was so informative and doesn’t rely on scripted descriptions, all local knowledge from his head. Got a very detailed total history of Belfast from a passionate local who really knows his stuff. Gives extra info of other places to visit and a printed synopsis of what we saw at the end so we can revisit. Nice touch.👌

A comprehensive tour of the culture, history, politics and people of Belfast - We were looking for a tour which covered key points of interest in Belfast city centre as well as some of the politics, history and culture of the town. Our guide Martin was warm, engaging and good humoured. His knowledge of Belast, Ulster and Ireland shone through and he was open to questions and discussion througout. Martin is also a native Irish speaker and delivered small sections of the tour as Gaeilge which lended added interest and authenticity to the experience. Recommended for anyone seeking a comprehensive experience of this wonderful city from an informed, passionate local.
