Fantabulous tour with Tony!! - From the time we hopped off the boat, Tony met us, had a baby seat ready for us, and made us welcomed to the area with great information at every stop. Our tour included Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, Cawdor Castle, Calva Cairns, Inverness, and a few more stops for photos. Tony personalized our tour to accommodate a 1 YO baby, and because she was easily totable, we enjoyed some nice walks in the two castle gardens and lunch in Inverness. While we had a full agenda, we never felt rushed. The weather was lovely which made for an overall fabulous day. Having a private car (a nice Mercedes van) for our family was a great decision and worth the price for a personalized and unique experience. Messaging prior to the cruise allowed us to ask questions and secure a baby seat for our little Lucy. We were also informed to book entrance to Urquhart castle online/prior so as to secure entrance, as tickets sell out. This tour was proof positive to book a non-cruise tour!

Worth every penny - MIKE/IQBAL was ou guide. Oh my this was the best tour of our cruise.. at the beginning we told him what we were interested in and he tailored the trip to our wishes. He's so knowledgeable and everything was comfortable and perfect. You should do the private tour if you are like us and want our own schedule and limited crowds.

Perfect One Day Tour - Perfect one-day tour. The drive through the countryside offers fantastic views. Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness is a wonderful site. Interesting and beautiful. Culloden battlefield offered an opportunity to learn about a tragic battle in Scotland's history. The standing stone site was great, and finishing off with a whiskey tasting was perfect. Our guide, Stuart, was knowledgeable, friendly, pleasant, and flexible. He was great! Highly recommend this tour. We were picked up and dropped off at the cruise ship dock. Could not have been any more convenient.

Execllent Trip - Roger was an excellent guide. Made the trip memorable and got us to all the places we wanted to see, and allowed us to modify based on our private group’s preferences. And Mike was great, we had a different tour cancel on us at the last minute and Mike worked wonders and was able to accommodate us at the last minute. One of the best private excursions we’ve done! Would definitely recommend!

Awesome - Fred was so very nice. The trip was flawless. We had an extra special tour that accomodated our needs. He allowed us to take extra time at locations we liked most and less at others. The trip was truly ours to design. Beautiful scenery

Fabulous day with Johnny - We had a fabulous day seeing the sights with Johnny! He was the perfect host… we got history, stories, and awesome local snacks! And when we indicated that we would like to take tea cakes home to our grandkids, he made time and found a store so we could make that happen! We could not have been happier with our choice. This tour with Johnny was first class all the way!

A tour tailored to you - We could have gone the traditional route and been taken to the usual tourist spots however Johnnie found out what we wanted and then adjusted the tour. We saw a few sights that very few tourist go see because they are off the beaten path and tour busses couldn’t get there. Fantastic landscape, such friendly people and such a rich history. Johnnie made sure we hit a couple of the most prevalent historic sites too and had good knowledge of the history. Touring with Johnnie was like being shown the area with a local friend. Highly recommend

A fascinating and comprehensive tour - We were visiting the area as a stop on a cruise ship. John met us at the cruise port and off we went on an incredibly fascinating and comprehensive tour. John was an incredibly knowledgeable and passionate guide. Having special insight of the are and its history, John was able to give special insight on some of the lesser known history of the area. This is truly a full day tour that is well worth your time. I would highly truly recommend this tour. A special thanks to John for providing a quality tour and the special time you gave me at the north end of Loch Ness. I know my parents appreciated it. Thanks.
