A unique run expience that will never forget.
â–¶Other things to note:
-The running tempo of the experience is always determined by the level of the group.
-Please mind that, as the experience might get intense, I wouldn’t recommend to join if you suffer from heart diseases or orthopaedic issues.
-Also, a full stomach wouldn’t be wise, so I recommend a light meal before we start e.x. banana or an oat snack eg.
â–¶Keep in mind:
- The experience doesn’t include any visits inside or outside archaeological sites/museums
- This is not a guided tour (historical information) but a run through the centre of Athens.
- This is not a tourist tour but a running sport experience.
- We highly recommend sneakers or running shoes!

I am Gregorios, a native Athenian, a professional in Physical Education and an outdoor sports event organizer. I extend an invitation to be a part of our Athens’ city training running team, Athens A.T.U.R.
Athens is home to some splendid hidden lanes in the Placa area. I have curated a perfect urban trail just for you. Come, join me to appreciate Athens through my viewpoint and enjoy a matchless run!
Abandon any sort of vehicle and rely on your feet!
- The partitipates do not suffer from any health problems (anatomical, breathing, heart problems, etc.) or any other health problem that can cause problems during our experience.
- The experience is an outdoor sport experience, that is why there are always some dangers we can not predict (injuries, extreme fatigue etc), that is why we ask you to always be alert during the experience. The runners take the full responcibility for the dangers of running outdoors.

The meeting point is the Monument of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Greek parliament. Access by the Syntagma metro station.

Lovely & friendly experience, highly recommend! - Really lovely experience, Grigios was very friendly and accommodating. There was just me so we did a slightly longer run, stopped whenever I wanted for photos & learnt some things about Athens! If you’re looking for a run, I highly recommend!

Great casual run with someone who knows where to go - Really enjoyed my casual early morning run with George. It was the perfect start to the day got me outside seeing Athens in the morning lights with someone who knew where to go had a predefined route that hit a lot of great things and it was mindless but fun just perfect!

Amazing experience and first class tour - Incredible experience with our guide George. Took us to some brilliant spots around central Athens and some nice neighbourhoods nearby. Brilliant views and great company throughout. As the guests, you can set the pace to however it may feel comfortable. Would 1000% recommend to anyone who likes to keep active on holiday. Did this experience on the first day of our holiday and has given us such a good map of where to go for the rest of the trip.

Running your Athens - What an amazing way to discover the city. George was also extremely knowledgeable. The best way to get climatized and to immerse yourself into the culture.

Take in a city with good company! - George was really good company on the run. It is run at your pace and he adds in description about where you are and a couple of things of interest, but doesn't force conversation as he knows some people just like to enjoy the run. And i ran around the olympic stadium, which was great!
Its difficult to see new places and run while not getting lost, so having someone take you on a run around their local neighbourhood is a nice way to do it. Highly recommend for any runner!

Great pic day! - In my work I always try to find great places for ics and videos to capture. This experience gave me many ideas for work, plus waking up with a run and later a coffee is a great idea for me.
