Highlights
  • Arikok - Pick up from your hotel or cruise ship and enjoy a scenic drive to the Arikok National Park.
Once at the Arikok National Park visitors center you will meet the park ranger who will take you on an adventurous hike through the largest nature reserve in Aruba.

The Visitors’ Center has a modern sustainable design and houses an exhibit of Aruba’s endemic animals such as the Aruban whiptail lizard (cododo), Aruban cat eye snake (santanero) and endangered rattle snake (cascabel).

Park rangers will escort you on this hike that will showcase fascinating flora and fauna and interesting historical sites.

The Arikok National Park is home to priceless gems that we know are rare because they are indigenous to our island. The Aruban burrowing owl (Shoco), Aruban rattlesnake, Aruban whiptail lizard, and Aruban parakeet (Prikishi) can be found in the Aruba National Park where they live together with the native flora and fauna supported by the protected unusual land formations made from lava, quartz diorite and limestone.

Fun! - The shuttle picked me up on time. The commute to and from the tour was quick and comfortable. Joshua was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and history of Aruba. I also appreciate bottled water being available before and after the hike. The hike itself was a nice workout, but not too strenuous.

Educational hike - Joshua was so engaging, VERY knowledgeable, and friendly!! His knowledge on the park and on Aruba was so extensive because of his desire to have a deep knowledge of the island. This was a great hike through the national park! Very do-able terrain, and well worth it to have a guide inform us on the history of the park, and the flora and fauna throughout the hike.

Great experience. - I loved this experience. It was about a 2.5 mile walk with minimal elevation changes. Josh was very informative and took time to explain all the plants and animals. I am very glad I went and saw a different part of the island!

I learned so much! - Company worked with my friend and, we weren't staying at a big name hotel but he allowed us to be picked up at one so we didn't have to find our way to the hiking spot. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and friendly. He talked about topics above and beyond the Park and things we saw on the hike. ---They gave out two bottles of water per person, but I 100% recommend you bring some of your own as well.

Getting off from the coast in Aruba. - Enjoyable walk through the Arikok National Park. Brandon (guide) was really informative about the flora and fauna and the history of the local environs. Was expecting the 'hike' to be more strenuous and testing - more like a morning stroll.

Pleasant and different experience in Aruba - I liked the experience. The guide was very attentive, the transfer picked me up at the scheduled time, everything as agreed. Regarding the park, the place is interesting to learn a little more about the island. The park itself is not spectacular, but it was worth it.

We had a great time! A... - We had a great time! A very easy trail. The details about having a park ranger as your hiking guide are misleading. Although our guide was pleasant, he was not a park ranger. He was an employee of the EL Tours.

Tour Guide made it a 3 - Tour guide was good. Bus driver who picked us up was a horrible driver and never chatted with anyone at all. Wish they had more for us to do at the facility Get there- hike- goodbye ?

WORST experience in Aruba - Arrived 15 minutes early to pick up location. Confirmed my reservation via email the night prior. Driver never showed. Called at 9:22am to check in. The very rude guy who answered the phone said. “you were a no show, he left. he arrived at 8:59 and left at 9am and we have GPS to prove it” I was shocked. I requested a refund and was denied. I checked with every car and bus i saw to confirm if it was my tour. I DO NOT recommend this company. Find a local and invest your money directly into the community. I took the day to walk myself Round the island and talk to locals. it was amazing. Blessing in disguise that this company sucked so bad.
