Highlights
- Vallecito - Trek through the Andes Cordon del Plata range with a professional mountain guide. Enjoy transportation to and from Mendoza. Take in breathtaking views and try to spot native wildlife, such as condores and guanacos.
The picked up is at 8:30 AM in Mendoza at your acommodation, travel to Cordon del Plata. On the way, take in the amazing views of the Potrerillos Dam and of the main mountains. See Cerro Plata, which reaches 5970 meters in altitude.
After driving for 80 kilometers you will reach Vallecitos at the foot of Cordon del Plata mountain range. Hike in a beautiful ravine or try reaching some peaks with amazing views of the surrounding mountains and wildlife such as condores and guanacos.
You can choose your intensity according to your wishes. You will arrive in Mendoza at around 6:30 PM.

Wonderful hike - The hike was perfect. Vanina was a delight of a guide. The drive from Mendoza was gorgeous. The hike was demanding but not difficult or technical. The high altitude (3000m +) meant we had to take it slow. We saw so many animals and the lunch was delicious.

No brainer - We 100% recommend this tour! The hike was certainly challenging, but our guide Fernando was fantastic. His knowledge and energy/passion was incredible and the scenery was top class.

Great! - Extremely attentive team, quick responses and an incredible experience. Guide Pablo, was very professional and contributed to the trek being very successful, not to mention he was a great meteorologist and photographer 😃. I recommend it 100%!

Beautiful Trekking - A nice Trekking, beautiful landscape, with a patient and experienced guide, very friendly. We are not experienced, so Mauricio (our guide) stopped us to rest and asked us if we wanted to continue, return or which way to go. I brought fruit, cereal bars and a delicious picnic for the top. He took photos of us and was in a good mood for our talk. We highly recommend them

Pablo was FANTASTIC! - My wife and I hiked with Pablo in the Andes. It was a great and extremely memorable experience. Pablo was extremely thoughtful and professional. Traffic was challenging because of construction and we always felt safe because he was a very cautious driver. Pablo made us a delicious lunch on the top of our hiking summit at over 11,100 feet. This whole experience was outstanding. I would highly recommend this tour with Pablo to anyone. Thanks Pablo for an outstanding and memorable adventure your Alaskan Friends.

Great day hike! - we had a great Andes day hike with Mati! He kept us at pace and took us a through a lovely valley in Cordon Del Plata, with lovely views at the top. The lunch picnic was substantial at the top! Well worth the $

An excellent time guaranteed - Absolutely worth it, we loved every second of our hike! We had an amazing time with Vanina as our guide. She was nice, easy to talk to, supportive and very knowledgeable. She accommodated our group's needs without any problems and got us all excited to start planning our next adventure.
Joaquin was great while booking our reservation, I had a good feeling about the tour from the start.
This was the best experience we had in our vacation through Argentina!

Climbing Cerro Arenales and Lomas Blancas - Joaquin and Vanina at Destino Montaña organised an excellent day trekking up the Cerro Arenales and Lomas Blancas for us.
We were picked up from our hotel in Potrerillos and then a short 60 minute drive to Vallecitos where we met our outstanding guide Vanina.
Vanina speaks very good English and was able to easily describe the safety plan, the mountain, vegetation and region for us.
She also provided a wonderful lunch high up in mountains.
We highly recommend Destino Montaña for anyone who wants a great adventure of trekking and mountaineering.
