Additional Information

Tour in a small group - Up to 10 people

After a swift ferry trip and a comfortable bike ride towards the northern part of the city, we’ll find ourselves in the Waterlands, the serene rural area right outside Amsterdam. Array of cows and signs from local farmers selling freshly produced ice cream or milk are common sights here. Thanks to the Netherlands’ predominantly flat landscape, the trip doesn’t require you to be highly fit and with the aid of our electric bikes, the journey becomes effortlessly enjoyable.

During the tour, we will learn about the management of water and land, visit a traditional Dutch windmill, understand why bicycles are such a significant part of Dutch culture, and see how these routes were utilised during World War II to gather necessary supplies for survival. We’ll traverse through several picturesque villages offering numerous opportunities for memorable photos, making occasional stops to appreciate the environment.

As the majority of our time will be spent outside the bustling city, the usual tension associated with cycling in Amsterdam will be greatly reduced.
