Madu River - Enjoy breakfast and spend the morning at leisure by the beautiful beach. In the afternoon, proceed with your guide for a boat ride in Madu River. The Maduganga estuary is a 915-hectare complex coastal wetland ecosystem that opens to the Indian Ocean. You might spot turtles in Kosgoda before going back to your hotel.
Bentota - Sigiriya
Minneriya National Park - After breakfast, drive to Sigiriya. In the afternoon, enjoy a jeep safari at Minneriya National Park.
Sigiriya - Hiriwadunna - Sigiriya
Habarana Lake - After breakfast drive to Hiriwadunna for a village trekking and also experience a canoe ride and bullock cart ride. Have a Sri Lankan style lunch before heading to the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - Sigiriya commemorates some of the turbulence of Sri Lanka’s history. Learn the history of Sigiriya while witnessing the amazing rock fortress.
Sigiriya - Kandy
Dambulla Cave Temple - After breakfast drive to Dambulla (approx. 30-minute drive) and visit Dambulla Cave Temple. Dambulla Cave Temple was built by King Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C. and now it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Kandy - Kandy
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - After breakfast relax and enjoy the morning at leisure. In the afternoon, enjoy a tuk tuk ride in Kandy followed by a city sightseeing tour that allows your to do some shopping. Later enjoy a cultural show with traditional Kandyan dancing.
Kandy - Colombo
Colombo Fort - There is no itinerary planned for the day. After breakfast you will be driven to Bandaranaike International Airport according to your departure schedule (approx. 3-hour drive).
